Sam Thaiday and Allana Ferguson will have their finger on the heart of Queensland at the Caxton Hotel in Brisbane.
The Queenslanders will enter their own turf as underdogs, a position they thrive in, after the superstar playmaker’s late retirement Cameron Munster. However, the coach Billy Slatercaptain Daly Cherry Evans and human highlight reel Kalyn Ponga will not lack motivation to cause surprise in front of the army of Maroons in a sold-out Suncorp stadium.
Having won just two decisive games in 12 attempts in Brisbane, New South Wales will have to defy history to win the series. Captain of the Blues James Tedesco and half Nathan Clear will carry their condition on their shoulders as they aim to silence a hostile home crowd.
