Why San Francisco will win
The Dons may have lost to Gonzaga 78-62 several days ago, but they bounced back quickly and got back to the norm with two straight wins.
One of the most dangerous teams in the West Coast Conference, they bombard hitting 36 percent on three and hitting nearly ten per game. They hit half their outside shots in Game 1 against the Bulldogs, but struggled to do much else.
They’re usually much better at defending the three than they were in Game 1, they’re great at generating turnovers, and Gonzaga just showed they’re vulnerable.
The attack ended in a 67-57 loss to Saint Mary’s last time out, and now comes the opposite of what happened. San Francisco will shoot and keep shooting from the outside, but…

Why Gonzaga will win
Gonzaga had to sit and dance to the loss to Saint Mary’s for a week. Now he will be rested and a little angry.
The top-scoring side in the country didn’t move the ball against Saint Mary’s – they had just four assists against the Gaels – and they’re going to get out fast, move and kick inside.
San Francisco – for all the positives – is hit with a lot of fouls. He was whistled with just 14 the first time around against Gonzaga, but he’ll likely be closer to 20 in this case.
And the Bulldogs will hit their free throws.

San Francisco vs Gonzaga: what will happen?
San Francisco will go to the Bulldogs quickly, but the three will grow closer as the game goes on. And then, about ten minutes from the end, Gonzaga will leave.
The rust will be gone and the fresh legs will show up in a nice ride to look and play like the No. 1 team in the country again.
