Why the Kansas City Chiefs will win
Leaders should be able to bomb at will.
The Cardinals have a lot of positives, they should be able to stay offensively, and maybe they could pull away a bit, but can the secondary handle the different weapons KC brings?
There’s no more Tyreek Hill, but there are more than enough talented pieces for Patrick Mahomes to work with. Behind one of the best offensive lines in the league, he’ll have plenty of time to spread it out, tackle Cardinal corners and find some of the flash drives that will change the pace of the game in the blink of an eye. .

Why the Arizona Cardinals will win
Arizona talents are also paid.
The pressure is on Kyler Murray to play until his huge contract (he will), the receiving corps should be fine for a few weeks until DeAndre Hopkins returns (he will), and Marquise Brown, James Conner and a host of solid tight ends should be enough to keep up with Mahomes and company.
Kansas City’s defense might be a little underrated overall, but the one area that might be lacking early on is pass rush. The team tried to improve it during the offseason, but that won’t be enough to bother Murray.

what’s going to happen
There will be wild back and forths, lots of big plays, lots of goals – in the first half.
The Kansas City defense will settle, Murray won’t hit key throws Mahomes will make – the Cardinals will miss Hopkins more than the Chiefs will miss Hill – and a late flurry of points will be enough for the away team to show right away how good it’s going to be.
