Why Tulane will win
The green wave hasn’t been bad lately, although it’s not that consistent.
They don’t allow teams to find many transition points because they don’t return the ball. They’re great from three when shooting, they’re good on offense and they don’t seem to have a problem when teams are bombing.
They could give up a ton of threes, but they still have a way to bounce back quickly.

Why Houston will win
Tulane can’t find rebounds.
It could force several turnovers, but Houston moves the ball too well, is better at screwing up teams, and leads the American Athletic Conference in rebounds.
This is where the green wave will be launched.
Even when they rebound well, they tend to lose. They need to be scorching threes to get there, but only Northwestern State managed to get more than 40 percent from three against the Cougars — and lost by 31.
