Draymond Green, LeBron James’ midgame interaction sparks Warriors reaction

Draymond Green had something to say to LeBron James in the middle of the Los Angeles Lakers-Golden State Warriors Opening Night game. LeBron ran towards Draymond with the ball on the other side of the court. Green said something to James that made LeBron laugh. It also prompted a reaction from Andre Iguodala and the Warriors bench, by The Realest Realist on Twitter.

Andre Iguodala can be seen making a questionable move with his hands following the LeBron-Draymond interaction.

The Warriors ultimately defeated the Lakers 123-109. Golden State clearly looked like the better team as Los Angeles worked through the game. The loss certainly can’t be blamed on LeBron James.

LeBron scored 31 points to go along with 14 rebounds and 8 assists. His near-triple double wasn’t enough for the Lakers to win, but it was still impressive.

Draymond Green only scored 4 points but added 5 assists and 5 rebounds. Green has the ability to impact a game without scoring productivity and he showed it in the Warriors’ win.

One of the main storylines surrounding the Warriors was the Draymond Green-Jordan Poole altercation. People wondered how the two would fare together on the pitch. But they seemed to have put their drama in the past, as Poole and Green showed no problem with each other. Warriors star Klay Thompson has dropped a truth bomb on the situation.

“Dray needed to earn back our trust, and he was very willing to do that. Without Draymond we are not the Warriors and without JP we are not the Warriors. JP is our future. Dray is a legend, he’s going to have a statue outside one day.

The Warriors are on course for another successful campaign.
