Coimbatore Bomb Blast – CM Stalin Will Free These Muslims

Mr. Abdul Rahman, Chairman of the Board of Tamil Nadu Waqf, expressed his optimism that Chief Minister MK Stalin would take steps to release long-time Muslim convicts detained in the blast case from Coimbatore. An Appreciation Ceremony for the Chairman of the Tamil Nadu Waqf Board of Trustees, Mr. Abdul Rahman was held at Tennur High Road Grand Mosque, Trichy yesterday on behalf of the Mahalla Masjid Jamaat Assembly.

Mr Abdulrahman, who is involved in the case, told reporters: “We are working to recover properties belonging to the Waqf Board which are occupied in Tamil Nadu.” More than 700 lifers in Tamil Nadu prisons will be released after careful deliberation, according to Chief Minister MK Stalin. Given government demands, several community leaders believe it is unlikely that Muslims will be released from prison.

False information is being spread that people who have been arrested and imprisoned, especially in the case of the Coimbatore bombings, cannot be released under any circumstances. No one should ever lose hope. The Chief Minister does not discriminate on the basis of religion or socio-economic status and we hope to hear good news from the TN CM soon.
