Collider. “As you know, a lot of times when you see that early cut, it sets a table where you realize, ‘Okay, now we understand how much work we have to do.’ Admittedly, the movie is at a stage where no effects are done. It’s so fresh after filming. But every time the movie is this entertaining and good in this raw form, it makes us very confident. So excited to know where the movie is. Jaume did a good job. The movie is great. It’s funny. DJ was born to play Black Adam. I have to tell you that if there is someone who is perfect for that role is just him. Then seeing him with the rest of the JSA and all these characters and Pierce and Aldis and Quintessa and Noah, it’s a pinch moment. It was one of the most fun movies we’ve ever done and also the coolest thing to do something on this scale and with a character that’s going to have such an effect on the DC universe. It was really awesome, and I think you’re going to really enjoy it .

Jaume Collet-Serra conducts black adam from a screenplay written by Adam Sztykiel and Rory Haines & Sohrab Noshirvani. Johnson directs the film as Teth-Adam, who becomes Black Adam.
