A new report, titled “Assassin’s Creed Infinity,” has shared some early details about the game’s potential occurrence next month. Last summer, Ubisoft announced that it was working on a new live service game in the Assassin’s Creed series called Infinity. And while no substantial work has yet been shown, it looks like we’ll be hitting the first competition-related area in just a few weeks.
According to a new report from Giant Bomb, journalist Jeff Grubb says Ubisoft is likely planning to unveil Assassin’s Creed Infinity as the series’ first major point next month. In September, Ubisoft will organize a new event entirely dedicated to Assassin’s Creed in which it will discuss the future of the franchise. According to Grubb, this is where we’ll likely learn more about Infinity and get confirmation of the first set.
During the time period that Assassin’s Creed Infinity will end, Grubb has decided not to say any more specific things about it. Instead, he just teased it as a place that fans haven’t necessarily asked for, but said it’s still a very cool place. Assuming everything works fine, we should talk about it soon.
Whenever it comes to Assassin’s Creed Infinity in general, it’s worth mentioning that this game will feature multiple time periods and locations. This means that the community that Ubisoft will discover in the coming month will not be the only ones with this link. In fact, Grubb himself said that in the past Infinity is also expected to feature a section that takes place in ancient Japan and will see players controlling a protagonist who is a ninja. Even though Grubb’s record is a long-standing record, it remains unclear if any of this is true.
At the moment, details on Assassin’s Creed Infinity are incredibly limited, so we can’t know when they will be released. Every time a player launches, it will be free on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X, and PC.
